Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 July 2026 · version v1.0-2026
This policy explains what personal data LifeOS collects, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Data we collect
Account data (name, email), and the content you choose to enter: goals, plans, tracker logs, mood entries, journal entries, money entries, notes and reminders. Some of this — mood and health tracker data in particular — may be considered a special/sensitive category of personal data in your jurisdiction.
2. How we use it
To provide and improve the service, compute your productivity/streak insights, send the reminders and notifications you configure, and maintain security. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Legal basis for processing
Where required (e.g. under the GDPR or India's DPDP Act), we rely on your consent, the necessity of processing to perform our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.
4. Who we share data with (sub-processors)
We use infrastructure sub-processors strictly to operate the service, and they are contractually bound to protect your data and process it only on our instructions:
- Supabase — database, authentication and realtime.
- Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
- Google — optional "Sign in with Google" and font/avatar delivery.
- Anthropic — powers the in-app AI assistant; only the content you send to the assistant is processed, and it is not used to train models.
5. International transfers
If you're located outside our hosting region, your data may be transferred internationally. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual entries at any time, or delete your whole account from Settings, which removes your personal data subject to limited legal retention requirements.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, row-level access controls, and least-privilege service accounts to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we encourage strong, unique passwords.
8. Cookies & local storage
We use strictly necessary cookies/local storage for authentication and your preferences (e.g. theme). We don't use third-party advertising or analytics trackers. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India)
- Right to access a summary of personal data being processed.
- Right to correction, completion, updating and erasure of personal data.
- Right to grievance redressal and to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
